An interesting piece of research that seems to be gaining a bit of interest in the sport world. That lifting heavy is not necessarily the only way of getting to where you want to go.
You still need to be aiming at muscle fatigue, but for some of us the safer way to go is lighter weights – especially when you are returning to the gym/recovering from injury/tired or distracted.
