I am a qualified Clinical and Sports Massage Therapist, Pilates Instructor and Reflexologist, holding the BTEC Level 6 from Jing Advanced Massage. I am qualified in Acupuncture and Dry Needling, and continue to combine Traditional Chinese Medicine with Western thought and massage practices to bring the best results to my clients(list of qualifications and professional associations here). My business covers Bedfordshire and surrounding areas. I offer treatments at The Sadie Centre (The Letchworth Centre for Healthy Living) and at my Home Studio in Sandy. Home visits can be arranged for clients with restricted mobility.

My earliest inspiration was when I was coached in the art of Alexander Technique from my late teens. I went on to study Yoga and Pilates both of which allowed me to actively change the way I use my body. I was fortunate enough to meet and receive treatments and coaching from some very gifted Masseurs and Body Therapists. These varied approaches had a deep effect on me and inspired me to learn about the world of Complementary Medicine, the science of body mechanics and the joy of movement.

When I began to relate my own studies in Alexander, Yoga and Pilates to other people, I realised that I had a strong instinct to help people overcome their physical difficulties. So began my journey into the world of massage and movement.

Once I had qualified as a masseur, I joined various Professional Associations and am currently a member of the Sports Massage Association (SMA) and registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). They oblige their members to continue training in order to keep up to date with current thinking and practices. Membership also allows you to be part of a wide network of like-minded people.
